Waratah Linda is an older variety of waratah that,   I am told,   was grown by the connoisseurs  as a show competition watarah and always won !!
That makes it a must have.  Growing to 2.5M x1.5M  waratahs certainly like perfect conditions preferring a deeper,   rich  soil and more inland location akin to its natural mountain habitat.  It will struggle in a sandy coastal location.
